I love handmade things, especially textural things like doilies, quilts and blankets from the past. It has always made me sad to see these lovingly made things sit in boxes or thrown away. Re-purposing these beauties is a passion and also a gift to work with these amazing unknown craftspeople from many decades ago.

The table pieces are a collaboration with my beloved Aunt Daisy. I hand dye each piece and create the design, and she hand stitches the work with meticulous detail, finishing the piece and making it come to life. It is a bonding, therapeutic, time intensive, collaborative effort. I love her.
